Education and Activism: Women at Oxford 1878-1920, aims to expand its online collection by inviting the general public to share their stories and collections too.
In this current phase, we are collecting material and stories about the experiences of women who attended the University of Oxford between 1878 and 1920, as well as material that relates to the campaign for women’s education in Oxford in the same period. This could include: postcards, memoirs, diaries, physical objects, exercise books, memorandums, and photographs.
You can send your stories and material to us by filling in our online form. This can be accessed below. Simply provide some information about your contribution, including as much detail as possible. Once you have agreed to the terms and conditions and submitted your contribution, it will examined by a member of the project team and may be included on the crowdsourced digital archive.
